Verenita Armour's Obituary
Verenita Armour was born October 11, 1957 in Decatur, to Netella J. Hill and Willie L. Tate Sr. On August 1, 2020, God called Nita Nita home. She was always upbeat and she loved to dance. Nita always said that she would make Michael Jackson sit down with his own moves lol. She attended Decatur Public Schools.
Nita leaves not to mourn but to cherish her precious memories Mother: Netella (Moma Joan) Hill; daughter: Royann Y. Armour; sons: Rhasheed L. Armour, Joseph Williams (Vinia); 5 grandchildren: Mikayla Armour, Jalyn Armour, Lamara Armour, Jerron Armour, Ocean Armour; Sisters: Odessa Armour Bradford; Arena (Johnny) Williams; Gloria Tate Robbins; Barbara Rolax, Anette Lowery; Brothers: Elder Leland (Nancy) Jones; James Henning; Rodney Armour; Willie (Sara) L. Tate, Jr; Bradley Tate, Loinel Lowerey. Uncles: Frederick L. Jones, Donald Mason, Eric Collins; the entire Green Family, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Nita was preceded in death by her father Willie L Tate, Sr; brothers: Jesse M. McMillian, Brian (B-love) Armour, son: Roy L. Green Armour; Niece: Netella (Tella) Armour; Nephew: Altkeem Fuller and the love of her life, Roy L. Green, Sr.
Homegoing Services for Nita will be at 11:00 AM on Friday (Aug 7, 2020) at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St, Decatur. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Friday at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Decatur. CDC guidelines will be followed, and facemasks will be required for those in attendance.
