Violet Larck's Obituary
Decatur – Violet Larck, 78, of Decatur, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Violet was born December 22, 1936 in Decatur, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Schlipf) Durbin. Violet married Edward L. Larck on April 22, 1974 in Decatur. Edward preceded her in death on July 1, 2014. They shared 40 wonderful years together. Violet enjoyed going to rummage sales.
She is survived by her stepson David (Valerie) Larck of Lovington, IL; step daughters: Lawanda (Butch) Woodard of Thornton, CO, Loretta (Harold) Marsh of Newton, IL; sisters: Virginia Crickman of Grand Saline, TX, Vicky “Vivian” Durbin of Decatur, IL; seven step grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren ; two great-great-grandchildren; three nieces; and her beloved rat terrier dog Kimmie.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband Edward, and parents.
Services to celebrate Violet’s life will be 11 am Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the donor’s choice.
