Virginia K. Bryant's Obituary
Virginia K. Bryant 80 of Latham, IL died Saturday July 5, 2003 in her home.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be 10:00 am Friday July 11, 2003 in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital. Condolences may be made to the family at www.jjmoran.com.
Virginia was born on February 4, 1923 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Jesse and Sarah Amelia Hawkins Vowell. She was retired from the state of Illinois Lincoln State School. She married Thomas E. Bryant on May 31, 1941 in Missouri he preceded her in death in December of 1962.
Surviving are her sons, Gerald L. Bryant and wife Pearl of Oak Harbor, WA; and Thomas E. Bryant Jr, and wife Patricia of Decatur, IL; grandsons, Thomas Bryant and wife Dana of Mattoon, IL; and Patrick Bryant of Decatur, IL; step-granddaughters, Debbie Pierce of Oak Harbor, WA; and Gina Shields and husband Allen of Oak Harbor, WA; great-granddaughter, Taylor Bryant; step-great-grandchildren, Natasha Pierce, Alisha Pierce, Jonathan Shields, Tony Pierce, and Cole Evans; many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, three brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.
