Virginia Mae "Tootie" Malloy's Obituary
Virginia Mae “Tootie” Malloy, 76, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.
Virginia was born April 19, 1942, in Decatur, to Joseph and Dorothy (Manning) Lucas. She married Walter R. Malloy on March 18, 1960, in Decatur. He passed on February 6, 2009. Virginia was a Unit Secretary for Decatur Memorial Hospital for many years and later retired.
She is survived by her two children, Lisa (Thomas) Larry and Richard Malloy both of Decatur; three grandchildren, Brian Larry, Stephen (Natalie) Larry and Jacob Larry; two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Julie Larry; her brother, Ed (Helen) Lucas of Harristown, IL and her sister, Phyllis Parker of Kingman, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Don Lucas.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Cancer Care Specialists 210 W McKinley Ave # 1, Decatur, IL 62526.
