Vivian Sue Kittrell's Obituary
Decatur-Vivian Sue (Graham) Kittrell passed away peacefully on June 28,, 2023
Vivian was born on October 3, 1939 in Rushville, IN, the daughter of Emory and Mildred (Wilmoth) Graham and was the widow of the late Daniel Kittrell.
Vivian's passions were reading her Bible, playing the piano, being with family, working puzzles, and she loved popsicles and ice cream. She could bake the best caramel pie with a recipe from her Mother Mildred and was always the head chef in the kitchen. Vivian had a beautiful voice and loved singing hymnals; her favorite of which was The Old Rugged Cross. She was passionate about helping others and graduated from Nashville Memorial Hospital LPN school with her daughter Connie in 1981, later received an Associate degree in Nursing at Indiana University and worked as an RN for many years afterward.
Vivian was reunited in heaven with her husband Daniel Kittrell, her son James (Jim) Byard, and her grandson Jeremiah Byard. She was also reunited with her siblings and their spouses, Billy, (Evelyn) Jim (Louise), Walter (Joyce) , David and Orville and her sisters, Martha (John) , Betty (Bill) Doris (Bob) and Nancy(Tim). She is survived by her loving sisters-in-law, Sandy (David) , Donna (Orv) and cousin Norma (John) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Those who will miss her the most include her son Jake Byard and his wife Colene, her daughter Connie Coats and her husband Howard, and daughter Barbara Byard, Her grandchildren are Zachary (Jeremiah), Andrew Sr. Dylan, Amanda, Sarah and Amber. Her great grandchildren are Andrew Jr, Deven, Emery, Olivia and Declan.
