Wanda Rose Haines' Obituary
Wanda Rose Haines, 81, of Forsyth, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
Wanda was born October 8, 1929, in Charleston, the daughter of Roy E. and Blanche M. Stewart Wierman. She worked as a secretary for NECA-IBEW and Jurgens & Kneezel. Wanda loved spending time with her grandchildren and riding, with her husband, on their Harley Davidson. She married Jackie Lee Haines on December 11, 1954 in Brocton.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie of Forsyth; son, Tim Carrie Haines of DE; daughters: Cindy Tim McQuality of Forsyth, Marti Norman Deets of Milledgeville and Amy Mike Smith of OH; grandchildren: Katie John Howley, Kristin Murray, Lindsey Andy Pfister, Tim Deets, Kymberly Bowlen and Carly Bowlen; great-grandson, Evan Howley.
Wanda was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister.
Casual attire is requested at the visitation which will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. in New Day Community Church. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the church. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Payne Cemetery, Brocton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to: Moweaqua Nursing & Retirement Center or New Day Community Church.
