Wanda A. Hughes Peck's Obituary
Wanda A. Hughes Peck, 73, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Wanda was born on November 4, 1938 in Red Boiling Springs, TN the daughter of Miles F. and Eva A. (Eakle) West.
Wanda worked at Ray's Market alongside Carl Hughes, Jr. for 22 years. She went to school to become a CNA and worked at Fairhavens Christian Nursing Home, Decatur Rehabilitation Health Care Center, and Heritage Manor. She enjoyed traveling and going to country music shows.
Surviving are her son, J.R. Hughes; daughter, Candy Hughes; and one brother, Miles Donald West.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Hughes Jr., brothers, Charles West, Louie West, Billie West, and Bobby West.
Services to celebrate Wanda's life will be 1:30 PM Monday, November 5, 2012 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 ' 4 PM Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery.
