Wanda O. Schlosser's Obituary
Wanda O. Schlosser, 83, of Decatur, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 in Symphony of Decatur.
Wanda was born August 16, 1934 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Anna (McDougal) Marlowe. She was a devoted homemaker and member of New Beginnings Church of God and the Moose. Wanda married Floyd “Butch” Schlosser June 24, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death July 28, 2017.
Wanda leaves behind her sons Glen E. Smith Jr. of Mt. Zion and David L. Smith of Melbourne, Florida, stepdaughter Melissa A. Logue of Campton, stepsister Dorothy Thurman of Decatur, grandchildren Christy Smith and Daniel Smith of Mt. Zion, great-grandson Blake Mashburn of Mt. Zion and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three stepsons, one sister, and one stepsister.
Funeral Service to celebrate Wanda’s life will be 11 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 in New Beginnings Church of God, 2606 IL-121 Decatur. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday in the church. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to New Beginnings Church of God.
