Warren R. Adams, Sr.'s Obituary
Warren R. Adams, Sr. 85, of Forsyth, formerly of Urbana, died on Thursday, October 5, 2006 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
There will be no visitation and no services. Private burial will be at a later date.
Mr. Adams was born on June 7, 1921 in Kankakee, the son of Madison and Grace Miller Adams. Warren was a member of the United Methodist Church in Champaign as well as the Elks Lodge in Champaign. He worked in the shoe department at Carson Pirie Scott before he retired in 1985. Warren married Anna Jeanne Weir on Dec. 31, 1943 in Champaign and she preceded him in death in 1986.
Surviving is his son, Warren R. "Rick" Ann Adams, Jr. of Forsyth;
grandchildren: Aaron Paula Adams of Downers Grove and Nathan Vicky Adams of Chicago; great grandchildren: Eion and Olivia Adams; sister, Marie Schuman of Aurora, CO; brother, Wallace Adams of Des Moines, IA.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 great granddaughter, three brothers and one sister.
The family would like to thank Dr. Keith R. Smith; E.R. and fourth floor doctors and nurses at DMH; Lisa Trudeau and the entire staff at Aspen Ridge especially the nurse's aids on the third floor. Warren will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
