White Speck Willis' Obituary
Willis P. "Speck" White 84 of Decatur died Sunday February 20, 2005 in his home.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 24, 2005 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be Noon Friday February 25, 2005 in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Mr. White was born on June 2, 1920 in Oakland, IL the son of Walter P. and Alice Jane Allison White. His father and stepmother Eva raised him. He was a retired mix master for Prairie Farms making Ice Cream. He served his country in US Army. He married Mary Jane Drake in 1939 in Decatur she preceded him in death on November 15, 1993.
Surviving are his sons, Rickie White Kay of La Place; Stephen White Mary Jane of Clinton; Brother Wilson P. White Betty of Decatur; sisters, Alice Camp Bob of Decatur; Donna Logan of Decatur; grandchildren, Kellie Schaal Paul of Blue Mound; Chad White of La Place; Mendy Robeson Brian of Clinton; Michael Shane Tanya Berry of Clinton; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters.
The family would like to thank DMH Hospice and all of their caring staff and a special thank you to granddaughters, Kellie Schaal and Mendy Robeson and friend, Renee Askew for all there care.
