William A. Brunner, Jr.'s Obituary
William A. Brunner, Jr., 76, of Decatur, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at Manor Care Nursing Home.
William was born May 19, 1931, in Decatur, the son of William A. and Mary Irene Walker Brunner, Sr. A U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, William was employed as a fork lift operator at Firestone for 30 years before he retired in 1993. He married Beverly J. Eaton Jan. 15, 1955 in Black Oak, IN.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Decatur; brothers: Donald D. Brunner, Gary L. Miriam Brunner, and Terry A. Robin Brunner all of Oakley; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in Macon County Memorial Park with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.
Billy loved reading and studying the scriptures in the word of God and was always eager to share his knowledge with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all the members of his family and friends who knew and appreciated him for his Love that he showed to each of them.
