William Frank Cooper's Obituary
William Frank Cooper 73 of Decatur died Monday August 29, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing service celebrating his life will be Friday September 2, 2005 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Waddell officiating. Mr. Cooper was born on November 26, 1931 in Brownsville, TN the son of Andrew and Bernette Howell Cooper. He was a former member of Greater Northside Missionary Baptist Church. He worked at Wagner Casting retiring in 1991. He was loved and will be remembered as a quiet, fun and loving person.
Surviving are his daughters, Julie Matthews of Decatur; Brenda Neal of Decatur; Carol Daniels Ricky of Lithonia, GA; Joyce Perry of Decatur; sons, William Matthews Laura of Memphis, TN; Michael Watkins of Springfield; Marcus Cooper of Decatur; sister, Mary Bell Clark of Decatur; and a host of grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.
The family would like to thank the staff at DMH ICU, the staff at Cancer Care Specialist, and Dr. Esparaz for all their care during William's illness.
