William Thomas Mc Fadden Jr. 85 of Decatur died Tuesday March 18, 2008 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday March 26, 2008 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Jeff Grant, Celebrant. Visitation will be 6:00 ' 8:00 pm Tuesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 5:30 pm. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Mr. Mc Fadden was born on July 25, 1922 in Decatur, IL the son of William Thomas and Catherine O’Donnell McFadden Sr. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving from 1942-1946. He worked as a store clerk for Mc Fadden’s Stationery and a Security Officer at Adolf Meyer Zone Center. He married V. Faye Bonham on September 27, 1948 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Decatur, IL.
Surviving are his wife, Faye, sons, Timothy P. Mc Fadden Debbie of Decatur; Kelly T. Mc Fadden Linda of Gibsonia, PA; M. Shaun Mc Fadden A. Jeannie of Decatur; daughters, Molly J. Keener Phil of Rockledge, FL; Maura E. Potter Rick of Rockledge, FL; brothers, Phillip Mc Fadden Ilda of Springfield; Robert Mc Fadden Dorothy of Decatur; sister Mary Lou Mc Fadden of Mattoon; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son William J. Mc Fadden.
