William "Bill" Sebok 90 of Decatur passed away on July 5, Saturday 2003 AT 3:30 P.M. in Imboden Creek Living Center in Decatur.
Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be 10 a.m. July 10, 2003 in Saint James Catholic Church in Decatur. With the Rev. Thom Dennis celebrant. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., with reading of vigil prayers at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday July 9, 2003 in J. J. Moran and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Decatur. Bill was born on September 13, 1912 in Terre Haute, Indiana the son of William and Verona Hanko Sebok. He was a member of the Saint James Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus Council #577. He served as a fireman for the city of Decatur for 32 years. He was the oldest living fireman in Decatur. He married Helen Bernice Sapp in December 15, 1933 in Springfield, she preceded him in death in November 16, 1990.
Survivors include his sons; William Sebok and Wife Helen of Decatur, Richard Sebok and wife Karen of Carmel, California; Michael Sebok of Springfield, IL.; brothers; Joseph Sebok and wife Margaret of Harristown, IL.; Julis Sebok and wife Dorothy of Decatur; sister, Julia Galligher of Macon, IL.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by His brothers Paul, John, Steve and wife Helen.
