William Allan "Bill" Webb's Obituary
Decatur – William Allan “Bill” Webb, 70, of Decatur, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, in his home.
Bill was born in Decatur, IL, on October 18, 1955, the son of Wendell and Patricia
(Boyd) Webb. A member of Ss. James and Patrick Parish, 3rd Degree member of the Darrell W. Beck Council #577, and 4th Degree member of Very Reverend Jeremiah J. Murphy Assembly #211, Bill owned and operated Midwestern Printing before merging with Wood Printing. He then worked as an assembly test specialist at Caterpillar for 20 years. Bill married Melinda “Lynn” Waminal on February 21, 2001, in the Philippines.
Bill is survived by his wife Lynn of Decatur; daughters: Brea (Javier) Acosta of Decatur, Brittney Webb of St. Louis, and Lindsay (Joe) Webb-Redmon of Morton; grandchildren: Tesmri (Rhett) Holt, Jaiden Acosta, Isabel Acosta, Yesenia Acosta, and Troy Gould; siblings: Charlie Webb of Decatur, Kaye (Ed) Ash of Hume, David (Marsha) Webb of Macon, and Anne (John) Wilson of Mt. Zion; best friend Brian (Julie) Hadley and their son Brian Allan Hadley of Lovington; many nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10 am until the time of the funeral Mass at 11 am, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in North Fork Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Bill Webb may be made to his wife Melinda Webb.
