Willie Broadnax's Obituary
Willie G. Broadnax 'Mr. B' was born August 20, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to Lucy and Isom Broadnax. WILLIE was one of God's many blessings.
WILLIE was a man who had a lot to be proud of. Despite having to quit school in order to help support his family, he went on to do great things. After leaving his job as a foreman for the railroad he proved himself to be quite the businessman. WILLIE was the owner of two lounges and he is widely known for his ownership of Mr. B’s Liquor Store. WILLIE successfully ran and operated Mr. B’s until his health began to deteriorate in 1999. Upon his retirement, WILLIE spent his remaining years ensuring that his family remained close and utilized all opportunities afforded to them to better themselves; WILLIE’s wish for all his family was that they all become successful.
Needless to say, WILLIE was and remains loved by many. He was the patriarch of the family and his presence was joyous and spell-binding. He enjoyed life and brought laughter and joy to everyone he knew. Everyone who had the privilege to know him will sorely miss him.
