Wilma "Kathleen" Logue's Obituary
Wilma “Kathleen” Logue, of Decatur, passed away January 19, 2009 at 3:40 am in Decatur Memorial Hospital, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Logue was born January 16, 1922, daughter of David and Mame Wetherholt Kester. Mrs. Logue was retired from Harristown School District. She married William “Ben” Logue September 7, 1937. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1991.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Williams of Mesa, AZ; Billie Byers of Denver, CO; Jody Stephens Jerry of Decatur; one son, Benny Logue Jeannie of Decatur; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Bud Kester of Tallahassee, FL; Darrell Kester of Austin, TX; three sisters, Candace Boone of Decatur; Jannice Wentworth of Decatur; and Gloria Gausman of Sacramento, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two grandsons; one brother; and one sister.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2009, from 5 – 8 pm, in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Thursday, January 22, in Harristown Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Baldwin officiating. Memorials may be made to West Decatur Church of God’s Food Bank, 4500 W.
