Wilma Aileen Paxton's Obituary
Wilma Aileen Paxton 89 of Decatur died Tuesday August 22, 2006 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services celebrating Wilma's life will be 11:30 am Friday August 25, 2006 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor David Catron officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Long Creek Township. Memorials may be to Four Square Gospel Church
Wilma was born on June 28, 1917 in Hidalgo, IL the daughter of Fred and Mary Relker Chambers. She was a homemaker and a member of Four Square Gospel Church of Decatur. She married George Paxton in 1944 at Mattoon, IL.
She is survived by her son, Rick Paxton of Decatur; daughters, Rose Marie Osborn of Decatur; Julia Rios and husband Miguel of Decatur; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Carolyn Ryan, two grandsons and one brother, Fred Chambers.
