I LOVE YOU MY SWEET BROTHER, MY MEMORY IS OF A RAG DOLL YOU GOT ME FOR CHRISTMAS ONE YEAR, AND A CEDAR CHEST FULL OF SEWING SUPPLIES, A SMALL ONE, THAT I STILL HAVE. YOU TAUGHT ME MANNERS AND DIGNITY, AND MOST OF ALL LOVE. IVE ALWAYS BEEN SO PROUD OF MY BROTHERS, SO PROUD OF YOU. I'll ALWAYS LOVE YOU, GO WITH GOD, YOU'RE IN MY HEART FOREVER,
I remember the night we met Edwin at the Shaw's home in 1984. The striking gentleman with the silvering hair stood and smiled at Maria with such happiness and pride in her. When she looked at him, her eyes glistened with happiness. We enjoyed talking with him and admired his knowledge and quiet expression of faith.Helen "Linda" and Berry Hogan
Edwin was certainly a scholar and a gentleman. I am proud to have been a member of his congregation. I considered him a friend as well as my pastor. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family. Tonda Atchason

Ah, Maria! I am so sorry for your loss! What a wonderful and full life your Edwin had! If only it could have been longer and with greater health! You'll have your memories to treasure! Love, Mary Margaret
What a beautiful photo of him! Uncle Edwin was precious to me. Although he and I had not seen each other since the Jacobs Family Reunion in Nebraska, we kept up with each other in recent years through many wonderful phone calls. I loved our talks. He and I often shared with each other about our faith in the Lord. He always expressed sincere interest in my life, and gave such kind encouragement. I think he truly had a "shepherd's heart." He so loved Maria and Vickie! I send my love to you, Maria and Vickie, and to all the Jacobs Family –Sharon (Price) Bell, Valerie Jacobs'/ Bob Price's daughter
