Woodrow "Butch" Sapp's Obituary
Woodrow Wilson “Butch” Sapp, Jr. 77, longtime resident of Sullivan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and formerly of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the home. He was born September 30, 1941 in Decatur, the son of Woodrow and Ella Louise Bilyeu Sapp.
Butch was a music lover, and enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica. He also loved food and would eat almost anything!
Surviving are his sister, Donna Osman of Decatur; brother Jerry (Lynette) Sapp of Decatur; three nieces, one nephew, and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home in Decatur. Burial will follow at Macon County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy.
