Xavier Henderson's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Xavier Dee Henderson on September 11, 2023. He was born in Monroeville, Alabama on August 1, 1994, to Earnestine Henderson and Charles Jenkins.
Xavier was preceded in death by his father Charles Jenkins, both Paternal and Maternal grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins who were there to greet Xavier when he transitioned.
Xavier graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend Indiana and never met a stranger. His generous spirit was evident in all aspects of his life. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued. He was a loyal friend who would do anything for his family and friends.
He is survived by his special father Xavier Willis, Mason Henderson Jr and wife Patricia, Willie Henderson and spouse Marylin, Lance Curd, sisters Karen Salinas, Ashley (Oliver) Henderson-Dyson, Annette Hunt, and very special best friend Zac Wilson. He had a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.
Visitation for Xavier will be from 10am to 11am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at New Life Church of God (1275 E. Division St., Decatur, IL). Homegoing service will begin at 11am. Burial in Graceland Cemetery will follow the service.
