Yvonne Willis' Obituary
Yvonne "Bonnie" Willis, 69, of Decatur, died on Thursday, January 29, 2004 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Memorial gathering where casual attire is welcomed will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, February 02, 2004 followed by a memorial service celebrating Bonnie's life at 10 a.m. in the West Side Church of the Nazarene, Pastor K. Lyle Artman officiating. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials to: American Cancer Society.
Bonnie was born on September 13, 1934 in Chalmers IN., the daughter of Bernard and Helen Danford Telfer. She had worked in the dietary department at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home and most recently worked as a caretaker. Bonnie was a member of the West Side Church of the Nazarene. She married Roger Willis and he survives.
She is also survived by her sons: David Van Fossan of Decatur; Rodney Van Fossan, wife Robin of Decatur; daughters: Debra Trotter, husband Bill of Decatur; Kim Riley, husband Tom of Decatur; brother, Gene "Sonny" Telfer, wife Shirleye of Decatur; sisters: Mary Scroggins of Decatur; Marsha Weber, husband Dan of Mt. Zion; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
