Zella Rehfelt's Obituary
Zella Mae Rehfelt of Decatur IL passed away May 17, 2023. She was born March 14, 1944, in Grant Alabama, the daughter of Dill and R.T Sampson. She married her loving husband, Leonard Rehfelt on Feb 14, 1964. He proceeded her in death on Jan 27, 2010. He was cremated. He will be buried in her loving arms, together forever. They’ll be gone but not forgotten.
She worked for the Decatur Clinic from 1962 to 1997 when they closed, then she worked for Dr Jones 1997 to 2000.
She is survived by 3 sisters Shirley Neeley (Ed) of Decatur, Carolyn Neeley (Gene) of Moweaqua and Charlotte “Jo” Huston (Bill) of Rochester. She has 3 lovely nieces and two wonderful nephews, 11 Great nieces & nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews.
Zella was proceeded in death by her husband, Leonard; father R. T and mother, Dill and 1 nephew Eddie Jr.
A private service for Zella is going to be held at Moran and Goebel Funeral home and burial for Zella and Lenny will be held after the services in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
