Zelma Geraldine Toler's Obituary
Zelma Geraldine Toler, 87, of Decatur, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.
Zelma was born April 13, 1929, in Palmyra, IL to Troy C. and Dorothy (Dohrs) Castleberry. Zelma loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, bird watching and word searches.
Zelma is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (Richard) Toler-Riley and Joyce Toler both of Decatur; four grandchildren, Brent Fitch, Amber (Bryan) Powell, Gabrielle (Ryan Trone) Mingus and Briana Mingus; three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Neeley and Nolan Powell; one brother, Troy Castleberry of Pahrump, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Dorothy Koshinski.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Zelma Toler will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016, at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. The family requests baseball/casual attire for the service. Memorials may be directed to Decatur and Macon County Humane Society.
