My daughter Maria was her pen pal at OLOL school. She wrote her many letters and Maria always enjoyed the letters fromGranny Aggie. Today February 12, Maria found out that Mrs. Kolbeck has passed. She is very sad. We kept trying to plan a visit to see her. Somehow we just never made it. Maria has been carrying the letters around with her in her school bag. Now she'll cherish the last few she received. Thanks for sharing her with us.Symantha Aydt
I worked with Agnes at St. Mary's Hospital in the 1980's. I was an RN on 7, 4 and Orthopedics during that time. She was so comforting to the patients and their families as well as to me. It was so difficult to give "my all" to the job while being a working mother of teen-agers. I could always count on her to be reassuring AND realistic about the situations with the patients and my family responsibilities.You were blessed to have her in your life.Shirley Blickensderfer

Agnes was a beautiful woman that loved the Lord deeply! She had a love for her husband that was so strong and pure. I loved visiting and sharing meal with Agnes and her husband Bob at Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center. They shared stories and just loved being in the company of others.
