We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, Angeline. We know how proud she was of you Michelle and Joe and their grandsons, Patrick, Daniel and Brendan. We fondly remember visiting with your parents at Illinois football game tailgates….and your parents were always full of smiles and kindness to all of your college friends. Angie was a ray of sunshine into the O'Connor family. She was petite in stature but brought a giant warmth to any family event or holiday she attended. We didn't really talk about it, but we both knew we shared a special bond being a mom to an only-child daughter. When she greeted you, you knew she felt like you were one of her family and not just her in-laws. Her laugh and her side quips (which were a bit mischievous at times and a delight if you got to be part of those moments) still make me smile to this day. She will be truly missed by our family. How we loved Angie! My husband worked with her on a retreat. During that time, I met her, quickly learned to love her, and have never forgotten her or her warm hugs and sincere prayers. We have been blessed by her presence in our lives. May she be welcomed into heaven by scores of angels, her loved ones, and sounding trumpets as she meets Jesus!
