Danette,I did not know your Mother although I did meet her once in Kohl's with you. Sorry to hear about your loss, but she is rejoicing in Heaven. Decatur, IL US
Mrs. Barger was my softball coach for years. What a great coach, mentor and person. Decatur, AL US
It saddens me to hear of Barb's passing. We worked at Kohl's together for many years. I still remember her calling back to the Service Desk. Every call started with: "Hello, this is Barb," like I could mistake her voice for anyone else! She was so much fun. I'll miss her. Decatur, IL US
Cindy, I remember the days of softball when you and my daughter Kelly played and your mom coached. What a wonderful person she was–coach, friend and she set a great example for those young girls she loved and worked with. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Hopefully it's of some comfort for you to know that, even though it has been many years since our paths crossed, she made a wonderful, lasting impression on my family and is loved and remembered to this day. With sympathy,Sue SeeKelly Finet Monticello, IL US
Cindy, your mom was a doll, and a lot of fun as a softball coach. One big memory that stands out is one night when I stayed over at your house, it seemed she was ahead of her time: She made popcorn for us, and accidentally put sugar on it instead of salt – basically she gave us kettle corn LOL!I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories of her, and I was fortunate enough to have known her, too.My thoughts and prayers are certainly with all of you at this time. Decatur, IL US
Cindy and Danette, I enjoyed talking with your Mom. She was a sweet lady. I remember the time she opened her home and back yard to our VBS group and invited children from the neighborhood. She and you girls were gracious hostess's and we had a fun time. My sister, Janet and I visited her once in her home. We all had a good time. She did enjoy going to church when she could. My prayers are with all of you. I am sorry I will not be able to be there. Love you and would oh so like to see you. Imogene Fravala Decatur, IL US
