To my cousins and their families, I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bernards death. I have many fond memories with Uncle Bernard, Aunt Maxine, Terry, Freddie, Gary, Ronnie, Mark and Mike at Grandma's Naomi Whitemany years ago. I will miss Bernie everytime we go out to the courtyard to grill. He and Willie were always out there playing cards. The last time Bernie was with us when we grilled, he told us how he had met Maxine………….smile. Very nice memories he had of that time. He told us many stories….and even sang some bluegrass that another resident was playing on a cd player out there. He ate some BBQ ribs we were grilling and a polish sausage….then went in to lunch and ate more!!!!!!!. He went through a rough time there for awhile, but made quite a come back. He will be missed.
