Sending my condolences to the family. He was married to one of the greatest women I knew. (Clara – my moms best friend). He gave the best hugs! As a five year old I was very skeptical of this guy who kissed Clara. I remember giving him the side eye. He eventually won me over by loving her and treating her like his Queen. I loved his passion for volunteering and serving our community. I will always remember him.
My brother Kenny Cribbs does not know how to do this so I am saying this for him. He thought very highly of Bobby . They were neighbors for over 50 years and when Ken got were he could not drive Bobby would take him places. They would check on each other and just be friends. I don’t live in Decatur anymore so I was talking to Kennys daughter the other day and she told me Bobby had passed and that when she told her dad he said what am I going to do now (meaning he will really miss Bobby . He will really be missed.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Mann. The loss of a love one is hard to endure, that’s because the bible calls death an “enemy.” (1Corinthians 15:26) It also promise that this “enemy will be brought to nothing.” The Holy Bible also promise that those who are sleeping in death will be resurrected to life here on a paradise earth.
