I just want to say I am already missing the stories that my mom (Judy) would share with me after her daily talks with Aunt Carolyn! I know everyone misses her so, as she was so dear to all who met her! So many many times I would be with my mom and her phone would ring once and she would say "Oh, that's Carolyn, I have to call her back." That was their system and it is so sad to not here that phone ring just once again knowing that another great convo is near!Love to you all in Decatur!!Chrissy ??

Words cannot express my heartfelt sympathy for Carolyn's family. She was such a dear, sweet friend to my daughter, Nicole. When we moved back to Iowa, Nicole stayed behind in Decatur and could always count on Carolyn's friendship, encouragement & laughs to get her through not having family in town. Nicole & Carolyn shared many hours working together and for that friendship I will always be grateful. We enjoyed her company at graduations. Such a great laugh & smile. Carolyn was an awesome person and the best friend you could have. She one of my first friends at DMH. We have been friends for 21 yrs. I will miss her tremdiously she has seen my through alot will be lost without her. She will be greatly missed.
