Charles Edward "Chucky" Carroll's Obituary
A loving husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend has left us and went to eternity. Not to leave and say it's the end, but Charles Edward Carroll said "hey I will see you again." Mr. Carroll was born on January 20, 1955 to the late Mr. Jimmy Lee Carroll and Mrs. Magnolia (Bond) Carroll and departed this life Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
He accepted and confessed a love for Christ in his early life and attended West High School in Denmark, TN. Charles worked for Wagner Castings "Intermet" for 30 years and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ The Living God.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Mary Jo (Taylor) Carroll; daughter, Stephanie Carroll (Anthony) Thompson; sons: Donald and Jason Taylor; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers and sisters: Ella Louise (Ivory T) Ellison, Harold Lee (Brenda) Carroll, Luvenia (L.C.) Jones, Josephine (Joe) Jones, Ivie Lee (Michelle) Carroll, Prenestine Lee, Ellis Carroll, Annette (Robert) Brice, Vicki Jones, Raymond Carroll, Phyllis (Luster) Taylor of TN, Velma Taylor, Gladys Carroll of St. Louis, MO, Earlene (Algie) Gray of Decatur. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Dorothy Taylor; father-in-law, John L. Taylor; six sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Robert T. Carroll and Jimmy Dewayne Carroll.
Homegoing service 12 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 following a visitation beginning at 11 am in The Church of Jesus Christ The Living God. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
