Dear Ron, Todd and family, We are so very shocked and saddened to receive your heartfelt card and note to let us know of Cheryl's passing. It has been days and we are still in shock and cannot believe it. We cannot imagine what you all are going through. Speaking for my Mother ("Aunt Ruth"), she (as do we) thought the world for Ron (Gillibrand), Cheryl and Todd. I am so sorry that we have not had the honor to meet Ron (DeClue), but I know from speaking with Cheryl that you both shared a great love and relationship. Our love and thoughts go out to you all and especially to Todd and his family for their loss of a Mom and grandmother. Cheryl was a very fine lady who will be missed by so many. Please know that each of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I was fortunate enough to work for Cheryl at the Rolla J.C. Penney for about 3 years. She was a fantastic boss and truly cared for her employees. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Cheryl’s passing the other day. My condolences go out to Ron and the rest of her family.
I worked at JC Penney’s at Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth Illinois for 7 years. Cheryl was my Supervisor. She was a great person to work for.
The Staff and Parishioners of St. John the Baptist parish in Somonauk extend our prayers for Cheryl and her family. We were blessed to have her as a member of our community after she joined our parish this past year.
I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl for over 25 years, she was one of a kind and the true meaning of a JCP partner. I truly enjoyed working with her and talking about our families. She will be missed but she will always remain in my heart! So sorry I’m not able to attend her service. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
