Betty Query Smith
Clara and I became acquainted at S.S. School. I was the kdgn teacher there for 24 years. She taught many of us how to make beautiful pine cone wreaths. In fact she and I went to the cemetery down the road to collect them one time. I still have mine as do the friends and family members that I gave as gifts. Also she made the red weather proof bows for me that I put on my garage lights and mailbox for December. In fact I just had her make some new ones a few years ago. We also were so happy when she would join the retired S.S. employees for lunch at the Forsyth buffet twice a year. I talked with her on the phone when she was unable to attend anymore. I do know about her deep faith and always appreciated our friendship. Please accept my deepest sympathy upon the loss of a dear friend. Decatur, IL US
