Dear Tim, Claudia, Pam, Randy, Jodi, and especially to my lifetime long close friend Regan…I am so sorry for your loss. I know the Dawson's were well represented yesterday at the service at Holy Family, but it saddened me very much that my travel to Germany this past week prevented me from being there. Irv was a very special person in our lives and my respect for him was enormous. The Flemming family is most special and the Dawson klan is proud to be so closely associated with all of you. May God bless Irv, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mike

To the Flemming Family, I certainly feel a strong sense of sadness at the passing of Mr. Flemming-but the more apparent emotion for me today is one of gratitude for having known and worked with a man for whom I have the greatest respect and admiration. I was fortunate to have worked along side Irv at the beginning of my career at Borg-Warner-while gaining from the valuable experience and insight of a great man who was approaching the end of a long and successful career. Those that truly knew him knew that he was a very generous man with a many gifts-not the least of which was a unique sense of humor. I enjoyed our annual holiday season conversation-where we would sometimes talk for over an hour about everything that mattered to each of us-family being number one.Cyndi and I are wintering in Florida now so please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of a very special individual.John and Cynthia Selby1911 E 1190 North RdShelbyville, Illinois 62565
I only met Mr. Flemming once. He was at Tony's old Walmart in Davenport. I had heard so much about him from Tony and Tim that I was looking forward to an introduction. I have to say he was pure delight! Fiesty and really a sharp guy. You knew right away he was somebody you wanted to spend time with. I'm sure you all will miss him but I'm guessing he made his mark on this earth while he was here!
