Family Reunion, 2013
Munn Family Reunion, 2013 Bloomington, IL
Much sympathy from the Munn family. I have fond memories of visiting Dale & Gayle and their daughters when I was a young child in Decatur. We were fortunate to include Dale & Gayle in a “Munn Thang” (family reunion) in Bloomington several years ago. Our daughter taught Dale how to do cups (think red Solo cups). Such a fun memory! I am sure Dale and my Dad (Dick Munn) are enjoying their own reunion now. Much love and condolences to the Casey family.
The photos are from our last visit to Decatur. Out to dinner to one of Dale's favorite restaurants.
We started as neighbors, but became very close friends over the years. We enjoyed their company and evenings out to dinner. Even though we moved we stayed in touch on a regular basis. Dale always enjoyed sharing bad 'Dad Jokes'.
One of fondest memories of Dale was he liked his new toy...the snow blower!
After snowing overnight, 10", he was out at the break of dawn clearing his driveway. We peaked out to see him with his hat with the ear flaps half way up and icicles hanging off his mustache! He wasn't satisficed with doing just his driveway. By the time I got dressed and out the door with my snow shovel, he had 1/3 of our 30' driveway done. The man had a heart of gold!
We are very saddened by his passing. We will always cherish our fond memories of Dale.
Rest in Peace our Friend

Don and I are remembering Dale with a special admiration and love. We enjoyed his quiet sense of humor and often goofy jokes. We saw his deep love for Gayle, his lovely daughters and granddaughters. We will truly miss him and extend our love and sympathy to family and friends. Carol( first cousin to Gayle and childhood companion) and Don Steingreaber in Burlington, Iowa
Larry and family, sorry to hear of your brother, Dale’s passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers today. With deepest sympathy, Jerry Cross
This guy was very cool to me & my lil sis. Last memories i had was when Grandpa, Dale Casey & grandmother took Rosie & I to castle & coasters in AZ. We had a blast there. Then To Bisbee AZ. Where we split off. My sis and Grandpa, Casey went book shopping in old bisbee and walking around. Grandmother & I went down to the Bisbee Mine tours. Where we got see where Grandpa Parra worked in the BISBEE Mines. It was a wonderful day learning more about our cultures & how we are all connected. Family time was great.
Grandpa Casey will always live on, flying thru the cosmos. Knowing that he was very loved here by awesome people here. *cheers* to Grandpa Casey's HUMAN Experience. ❤️ - Mary Collier Family
Thoughts and prayers to the Casey Family. May your memories sustain you in the days, weeks and months to come. Dale will be missed by all who knew him.
