We are deeply saddened to announce that on June 6, 2024, at the age of 80, Dale Casey of Decatur, Illinois passed away.
Dale Casey of Decatur, age 80. Dedicated retired Decatur Firefighter leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Gayle (nee DeHaven); loving father of Elayna (Todd) Sadorus and Christina Casey. Proud grandfather of Noelle Fikaris, Lia Fikaris, and Sydney Sadorus. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Herbert W. Casey of Illiopolis and wonderful mother, Madeline (Dunn) Sloan of Decatur. He is survived by his brother, Larry Casey of Decatur.
Family and friends will be received at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 North Monroe Street, Decatur, IL, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday (06-14-2024). Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday (06-14-2024) at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinsons Disease Association.
