Tammy,I was very shocked to hear of Don's passing earlier this month. I was at work that morning shortly after the call came in to the office and was very saddened with the news. I prayed for you and your family shortly after I heard the news and I will continue to keep you in my prayers in the coming days, weeks, and months. I know times will be hard, but continue to lean on the Lord, Jesus Christ and He will give you strength. Though I was unable to be there during the celebration service, my paryers were with you that day. I met Don though the South Carolina DOT Radio Shop where Don was a fellow electronic technician and later my supervisor. Don knew his electronics and was always excited about learning something new and helped those of us who werenÃ?â??Ã¢â?¬â?¢t sure about what to do with an electronic problem. He was instrumental in getting the State Radio Shop top line equipment; one of which was an antenna analyzer which I still use to this day. Don had a great sense of humor and was not only a loyal supervisor, a good friend, but an electronic standard of learning and knowledge.
