I feel so fortunate to have known Don Davis! His calm demeanor, his desire to volunteer to help others, his patience, his sense of humor, and his love for his family, are all qualities I will fondly remember when I think of him. My condolences to all of you, and I hope you are able to find comfort and peace as you reflect on his wonderful life. Hugs to all of you!
To the family, I had the chance to meet this man when I was 16 years old, he was kind to me, and didn’t speak alot to me,but when he did, you were treated, and talked to with respect not only by this man, But everyone else that was in the household.I want to send my condolences to Pat, Tami and Rick for their loss, remember, we are all here for a short time, and we can’t telltime at all, only the man above, but think of all the joy you have endured by this man, and know that there are many , many, morewho are waiting to be touched by this man…………Kevin Underwood……..
I worked at MVSS Decatur from 1973 to 1981, starting in the drafting room. I considered Don to be a true leader at MVSS, highly knowledgeable and skilled, and willing to help and guide a young engineer (me) learn the craft and the industry, always displaying both his integrity and his passion for the work. Thank you, Don.To his family and friends, my condolences on your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful man! Thinking of you and love to all of you.
You and your family are in all my thoughts and prayers. I know how it feels to lose your dad. If you or your family need anything let me know — even it you just need to talk. You never get over it, but with time the pain dulls and is more bearable. Again my prayers are with you & your family.
