Dear Family of Dorothy (I called her Dorothy), It was a privilege to serve her this past year as a chaplain for Safe Haven. Obviously, the disease affected her mind and body, but she seemed to retain a strong sense of self, who she was and what she believed. I know she was very proud of her children and grand-children. We prayed together for you all at almost every visit. I pray that God will comfort you in your loss, and that you will have the same faith in God and hope of heaven as your mother and grand-mother.
