My second mom for many of my teen years…she welcomed me in to her home as if I were her own. I think back fondly on those years…I will miss her so very much.
My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. Sincere thoughts and prayers of peace and healing for your family. Jill Stuart
I can only echo what has already been written about Dorothy. She and Howard were a great team. They raised a beautiful family. I came into the Campbell family in 1947 when I married Bob Campbell in Chicago. I recall that Howard and his brother hitchhiked from Clinton to attend the wedding. I still feel very much a part of the family and am grateful I saw Dorothy here in Portland last year for the wedding of their grandson, Travis.Phyllis (Campbell) Lindsley Portland, Oregon
Aunt Dorothy was a firecracker of a woman. Her dry sense of humor always had me laughing. She was one of a kind. I am going to miss her, terribly. What a precious woman! Thank God for our family!
Dorothy Mae was a kind, sweet lady who I remember as always smiling. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I would give anything to be there but really unable to travel. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God wrap His loving arms around you, Howard, your children, and all of the friends and family that loved this remarkable woman to comfort you in this time of grief. God Bless you. Love, cousin Nancy (Hume) Calafut
What a privilege to care for sweet Dorothy as part of her hospice team. My heart is with you Howard, and my prayers are with you all in this tremendous loss. I am out of town and will regret not being there to personally give you my love and sympathy. God bless and comfort you all in this difficult time.Jan Dial, DMH Hospice
I loved and admired Aunt Dorthy very much. She has a special place in my heart. Even though I haven't seen much of her over the last few years I thought of her often. She will be missed.
