The day I met Doug is a day worth remembering! I hadn't been back to Decatur in 10 years and much had changed, including me!!! I dressed up, wore big movie star dark sun glasses and a big hat and went into Eskers to surprise my brothers, Rick and Mark. The plan was that they wouldn't recognize me😁I was laughing all the way there. My plans didn't play out the way I thought they would because neither brother was there on that given evening. I engaged in conversation with Doug who was kind enough to tell me Mark had moved, not only that but he gave me detailed instructions to get to Mark's place out in the country. Doug was so kind to me and told me how much it would mean to Mark, if I would go out to his place to see him and that I should dare not leave town w/o seeing both of my brothers. It was his kindness and interest in helping me (a complete stranger) that really touched my heart. To the family, you all are in our thoughts and prayers, sending much love and hugs your way.
