Douglas M. "Doug" Burrows' Obituary
Decatur – Douglas M. “Doug” Burrows, 75, of Decatur, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Doug was born on April 25, 1950, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Glen and Nancy Burrows. An original member of the United Riders Motorcycle Club, he worked at the railroad and was the owner/operator of Eskers Tavern.
Preceding him in death were his father, infant son James, and sisters: Marsha and Linda; significant other Anna Moore.
Surviving are his children: Corey (Teri) Burrows of Heyworth, Ryan Burrows of Blue Mound, Drew (Brittany) Burrows of Argenta, and Riley (Madison) Reynolds of Decatur; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; siblings: Raymond Burrows of FL, Ronda Brown of KY, Craig Burrows of Decatur, and Gwen Burrows of Decatur; mother Nancy Burrows of KY; many nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends.
In honor of Doug’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. There will be no formal service.
