"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Rev. 14:13. I have so many precious memories of Rev. Jackson. He and the Late Rev. ED Harper were my first spiritual mentors when I came to Decatur in September, 1970. Rev. Jackson was very instrumental in spiritual development in my early years. He spent so many hours explaining the scriptures to me as a young Sunday school teacher. My love and prayers to his family. Dr. Mildred A. Warren

Rev. Ed Jackson was my first youth pastor at Northside Missionary Baptist Church on Railroad Ave. He was a gifted preacher who made the word simple for youth to understand and embrace the life of Christ. I have not seen Rev. Jackson in over 37 years, however his impact on my foundation of faith in the Lord is immeasurable. May I speak peace and comfort to his family during their loss.
