Martha, James, Theresa and Family,I am sorry to hear of Aunt Fannie's passing. She will be missed by a lot of people! I best remember her for her with the baseball cap she always wore!!! May you have comfort knowing she is at peace with the lord now and you will all be reunited again for eternity. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Decatur, IL US
In the short time we spent with Fannie she shared with us how truly special she was. We meet a lot of people and get to share in a part of their life. Fannie was one in a million, we enjoyed her so much and will think of her often. Thank you all for sharing her with us. We'll miss you Miss Fannie. With Love, Shawn and Jason Windsor, IL US
What a blessing it was to get to know Miss Fannie while I was in IL visiting my Mom and Dad Beulah & Jack Portwood. Mom and Miss Fannie were table-mates at Heritage Manor. Miss Fannie was a saint as she joyfully endured my Dad's constant teasing and story telling. But she "gave as good as she got" as far as the teasing. My life is richer for having known Miss Fannie for even a short period of time. My love and sympathy for your entire family. Clarkdale, AZ US
Some may ask, why would family sign "Guest Book"? My Aunt was more; she was like a mother, friend, financial advisor, loan officer, and then back to being FAMILY.I was always welcome in her home; treated with Family Love as a guest and family. We cooked for each other or shared buying each other meals.I love my Aunt with all my heart. She didn't want to fail me and I didn't want to fail her. We ran the race to the end.She like to keep things to herself, but in her own way she was telling me she was ready for one last walk, one last ride, she past the torch to her sister – my Aunt Ernestine, My new "Road-Dog". Thank You "Honey"- Aunt Fannie.I LOVE YOU A LITTLE;I LOVE YOU A LOT;I LOVE YOU MORETHAN ALL THE STARS in the skyLQQK’n like dots. Much Love from Nephew, Sir Jackie Hayes Decatur, IL US
