Mom, its been almost two years and I feel its safe for me to sign your guestbook the way I wanted to in 2008. I didn't want to offend my siblings nor tarnish your memory. My Beautiful First Mom, we never met but there were so many things I wanted to say to you. I wanted you to know that I love you. Losing you for a second time hurt so much. I was born and raised in Decatur and worked with Florence for a lot of years at Dept. of Rehab where she was my secretary. I always had a lot of admiration for her. She spoke so lovingly of her family and especially her children. I was still working there when her mother died and remember going to her services. Florence will be greatly missed. We had a lot of fun times working together. She had a marvelous sense of humor. long beach, CA US
