Francis Eugene Cline's Obituary
Francis Eugene Cline, 82, of Decatur, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in his home.
Francis was born February 18, 1925, in Loami, IL, the son of Charlie W. and Gertrude M. Isaacks Cline. An active member and leader of Morning Side Church of Christ, he was a WWII Navy veteran and worked as sales manager for Hazelriggs for 41 years before retiring March of 2007. Francis married Helen O. Peters on April 3, 1948 in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Decatur; children: Sherry L. husband, Richard Mileham of Sycamore, IL, Bradley G. Cline of Beaumont, CA, Deborah Petty fiancÃ?©, Tom Redgate of Sanford, FL, and Mark F. wife, Marilyn Rosteck Cline of O'Fallon, MO; brother, Glenn R. Cline of Indianapolis, IN; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2007, from 5 to 8 pm at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials: Morning Side Church of Christ.
