Connie was certainly a very special person to many people. My son Johnny called last night just to tell me, "I really miss Grandma Connie." He was lucky to consider her a real Grandma, and the Burrows kids were blessed to have Connie and Jim as their parents. Urbana, IL US
What a blessing it has been to have Connie in my life. What an amazing woman.I will treasure my memories forever. Thank You all so much for allowing my special friendship to happen. Love You All Decatur, IL US
To the family, I am so sorry for the loss of such an awesome woman in your lives. I wish I could be there to share all the fun memories from my visits with Grandma Connie. I wish I could come up for the service with Derek, and even though I can't be there I'm sending really good and positive thoughts for the whole family. I'm gonna miss her and the procession of feeding her kitties, and the gatherings at her house, and her sense of humor. I will always remember when she told me I was beautiful. It meant so much coming from Derek's Great-Grandma. She was such a kind soul and was always taking care of her family. With all my love… Atlanta, GA US

How lucky I was to have such an amazing grandma! I will miss her dearly, but I will always remember the great memories we had, especially the story she always told me about when I was a little girl and always introduced myself as "A-Chel". She always told me what a great person I had grown up to be, and I'm glad she was able to participate in my wedding ceremony last year. She was truly one-of-a-kind and will be greatly missed. I love you, grandma! St. Louis, MO US
