Thoughts & prayers to Greg's family. May God Bless & Comfort all at this time. Decatur, IL US
My sincere condolences to Kathleen and family, Stephen, Bill, Lisa and Jo Ellen and your families. I too have very sweet memories of Gregory including the bear story but I also remember your mother retelling the story and while she made us all laugh as she could always do we knew that she loved Gregory for his kind heart. Gregory, always interested in others, would keep us distant cousins up to date as to what was going on in the Brinkoetters. He'll always have a special place in our family.SincerelyConnie Martin McDermott St. Louis, MO US

I would like to express my sincere condolences to Gregory’s family and those close to him. I have fond memories of my cousin Greg from my childhood when my family lived closer to Greg and his family. This made it possible for us to see each other periodically. I’m sorry the miles between us have made it difficult of me to know Greg well during his adult years. I’m sure I would have benefited from knowing him better. San Francisco, CA US
To all the Bill Brinkoetter kids and my cousins – I am so sorry to hear about Greg's passing. He was such a neat guy. Loved to be around him although that was few and far between! He will always be remembered as "our cousin who let the bears out of the zoo!" It kinda makes you smile! We send our love from the Bill and Betty Hayes family and know that we love you all………….Terri Hayes Engel Madison, WI US
I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of Greg. I have many great memories of my & my son Joe's Joey time with him. He was a very kind, generous man. He was there for me when my dad died ,even being a pall bearer in his funeral. He introduced me to many great people, including his wonderful family. We would occasionally keep in touch and I had just been thinking of calling him to see how he was doing. I wish I would have done that. My heart breaks for all he left behind. I will always remember him fondly and he will always have a special place in my life. I hope he & my dad meet in heaven, they were quite the pair when they were together. Love you Greg, & you will be missed.Julie Grim-Anderson Cambridge, WI US
