Having the opportunity to see you mother again after all these years was such a pleasure. She was always so sweet when I would stop to visit or give her a spin in her wheelchair. She could get anywhere on her own but sometimes loved a push going to the dinning room. Many times she would ask me how she new me. The smile that lite up her face when I would Tell her Gean Feezel was my dad was priceless. She made me feel good that he was remembered. He passed away in 1977 at the age of 51. The memories of the racetrack and people dance thru my mind with fondness. She and I also bowled together for many years. I worked with Helen at DMH for many years. She was such a joy to be around. Memories of sitting at her house, inside or outside, will never be forgotten. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She shared with me some of her holiday recipe favorites. I make them each year and it brings a smile to my face along with all the memories of a wonderful friend. I feel so blessed to have had her as my friend.
