When I think of Snappy Shoe Shine it brings the best memories to me. That is what Hosie did for me. He made me feel good. I had the watch repair shop next door and would wander over just to talk to Hosie. Then there was Winnie Smith next door to Hosie as well, so we had a great crew on that street.Hosie always said to me "Laugh and the world laughs with you…" What a great guy!
I am sending this message from the whole Hedenberg family. Hosie was such a wonderful person. He always kept my Uncle Bob Hedenberg busy and watched over him throughout the years. We all appreciate all he did for our Bob who also went home in May to be with our Heavenly Father. I know they are sitting together right now catching up on all they missed out on when my uncle left Decatur to go to Arizona to spend his last years there. We send our prayers out to the family for your lose but we all know Heaven is rejoicing to have him there.Bobbi Jo Patterson
